Japanese fans have long pursued the success of Ace Attorney series, both within and outside of the game. Now the series is set for an incarnation on the U.S. shores. Ace Attorney Investigations: Perfect Prosecutor will be making an appearance as Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth in America this winter, Capcom has announced. The tile is being developed by Phoenix Wright, for the Nintendo DS of course, and allows players to reprise the role of Edgeworth. They must then investigate crime scenes with Detective Gumshoe’s able assistance. Gameplay details are still sparse, but this one’s expected to be closer to a point-and-click adventure; translating into more freedom to explore. Courtroom scenes though will be more on the lines of previous episodes, but Wright is touting a new “logic” mode to gather information. More on these as events unfold.
