Square-Enix and Sony Pictures premiered the English version of the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children yesterday at Arclight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood. This was originally released in 2005 in Japan.

Anyway, so how did it all go? As this was witnessed by the actors and actresses, what did they have to say after the language switch? Siliconera has an excellent post on this where he captures the moods of the various artists who worked in the movie.
The following is what the actors had to say:
Steve Burton (Cloud Strife) said that he would love to be Cloud if Square-Enix ever thought of producing a live action Final Fantasy movie.
Rachel Leigh Cook (Tifa Lockheart) said it was 'stunning' and she's a 'fan (of Final Fantasy) as of today'.
Steve Staley (Kadaj) said about his character, "Kadaj is misunderstood like most villains are, he's crazy but could be a protagonist character too."
Mena Suvari (Aerith Gainsborough) said it was 'a great experience to be part of something with such a following.'
Steven Blum (Vincent Valentine) he said he wasn't allowed to speak about the game now. *heh*
Benjamin Bryan (Denzel) said he was impressed by the movie.
Quinton Flynn (Reno) liked the chance to play a different and more in your face character than some of his other anime roles.
Wally Wingert (Rufus Shinra) said he liked Rufus' presentation as a 'cloaked figure' and compared the Rufus' entry to Darth Vader.
Andrea Bowen (The Girl) thought that the animation was amazing.
Fred Tatasciore (Loz) was amazed at the artwork and said the 'animation was like a moving painting'.
