The US PS3 launch day came with very repulsive weather conditions. Some times it was raining and sometimes it was turning very pleasant sky with all the clouds just vanished away in minutes. The launch started at sharp midnight and all the gamers were queued for hours patiently outside the outlets.

You would feel little odd when I'd say the gamers over here had been waiting outside the stores for days before. At midnight Sony announced the launch with $500 and $600 as per console's embedded technology.
Kaz Hirai, chief executive of Sony's American games division announcing the launch says that they are shipping a huge 400,000 units so as to eradicate the inconvenience of gamers due to shortage of consoles. For that they are shipping the consoles through airplanes instead of seaways.

At the launch night Sergio Rodriguez was the very first person to go-off with his PS3 console and one more thing crazy about Rodriguez is that he was out of his home and lodging just outside the store since Sunday just to score PS3. Oh my...what a madness!!! After grabbing the game he said, "It is the best game ever. Some would call me crazy but I just love to play with PS3."
After Japanese PS3 launch Sony is with high souls since PS3 did a great job as it was launched in Japan with 88.400 consoles pulled out within two days. And now Sony is hoping a good show here in North US as well.
However Europe launch has been postponed to March 07, the European gamers will have to wait until March to get their hands on new PS3.
