Three days ago research firm NPD Group presented gaming market data related to the total business and the no of software and hardware pulled off in Nov month. The detail elated all the gaming consoles and software developers as the group said that the whole gaming industry is showing the overall growth of 34% in last month. SCEA also appreciated the report and said that Sony’s PS3 sales are seizing the stream with the passage of time and they are progressing steadily towards the 4 million shipment target by the end of this calendar year.
The report describes the Xbox360 as the winner in the next-gen war for the last month with the sale of 511,000 hardware and procuring first place in the hardware sales list while Wii got the second place in the next-gen hardware sales with selling 476,000 units and out of 2 million shipped for US launch day Sony filed the transaction of 197,000.
The Sony America chief said that they have got a good enough start and they will ship 4 million consoles by the end of this year. Nintendo also is delighted with launch aftermaths as it will soon reach the 5k milestone. Nintendo officials have let out one more statement that they are determined to ship somewhat 4 million Wiis globally by the end of this calendar year.
Nintendo is enthused after the 6 million sales in just eight days as it was premiered in US on 19th Nov. and showing a rapid retailing it kissed 6 million mark in just eight days.

The HD graphics are responsible for the price hike of the next-gen consoles that Wii doesn’t cuddle. The officials say until or unless the gameplay is not captivating, the consoled cannot create a significant vacuum for itself. However we are still left with a launch ceremony that will be celebrated in Europe in March 2007 and will certainly bring some staggering add-ups to the sales figures of Sony as it is hoping.
