One fine day after playing with the Xbox 360 at the store he saw that Xbox 360 had the Media Center connection tech that would have allowed him to watch TV progs via a Windows XP Media Center PC. The rest was simple using a TV tuner card that enabled him to connect the Xbox 360 and a PC. So, that was it!
