Geometry Wars is the game that has opened a new category in gaming with a blend of classic and innovative gameplay. How if Vista (OS) exclusive game can be played on XP? In fact, Valve is the company that tends to bring Geometry Wars to the XP. Valve, which one of the largest digital distribution services, will eventually be offering Geometry Wars via Steam. Valve announced the signing of the Brit based developer Bizarre Creations to bring Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved to the XP.

The new move takes the ‘Develop Award-winning’ Geometry Wars to over 13 million active Steam users, who will be able to get their hands on Bizarre’s futuristic multi-directional shooter.

Commenting in the favor of Geometry Wars, Martyn Chudley, Creative Director of Bizarre Creations said that the addition of this title to Steam's growing catalog of casual and arcade-style games is a milestone in their efforts to expand the content and services offered to gamers around the world.

As the game will be available over Steam, undoubtedly, the game will find a new fan-base through gaming’s largest communities, hence will add another feather to the cap of huge success of title.

However, the game costs $3.95, originally, but will be readily available for $2.50 until June 22nd on bargain basis. So, start groping for some more loose money into your pocket.
