The latest Famitsu publication informs that Japan based developer Vanillaware is working on a new action game titled Oboro Muramasa Youtouden exclusively for the Wii. Odin Sphere laden with stunningly 2D graphics is one of developer’s epic creations that is released recently on the PS2 across Japan and North America.
The magazine has revealed some beautiful screenshots as well that you can enjoy in the image-gallery pinned below. Like Odin Sphere, OMY is also being coined as an action-RPG with ‘non-stop battles’ in same (2D) format.

Set in Japanese feudal era, (as per scans) various stages in gameplay range from traditional cities, temples to grasslands wherein players will fight against samurai warriors, ghosts, monsters and even extraterrestrial beings like the Thunder God while bringing different modes in use.
Apart from this, a new sequel in the Fuurai no Shiren series has been revealed by the magazine.
Although, control scheme hasn’t been revealed yet, but pressing buttons and swinging the Wii-mote will manipulate various actions such as sword attacks and frisky ninja movements.
