Turning all the researches futile that said criticizes the gaming habits of the teen gamers and the video games, the psychologist group at the University of Rochester in Rochester have found the basis of affinity of the gamers towards the video games. The psychologists dug out the fact that it the psychological need that makes the gamers to play the games repeatedly. The survey discovers that the playing video games fulfill the psychological requirements of the gamers and the feel stress-free after playing video games.
Psychologist Richard Ryan has uttered in clear words that the video games enhance the psychological fitness, at least short-term. The research carried with more than 1,000 gamers brought the psychologist to the conclusion-psychology of motivation known as self-determination theory is the basis of long standing interest of the gamers towards the video games.
One more beaming fact the research revealed is the future aspect of the MMO games that the researchers said are the growing horizon i.e. the MMO drift will surely grow with the passage of time.
