Gears of War II
Hundreds of announcements are made per day in the infinitely big gaming world, each with different concern and essence. To give a wider coverage, Nintendo has initiated all new steps with starting a new Wii Channel in partnership with AP. So I also try to come with news that is more a news of flock-concern rather than a particular area or man based.
Here is the detail of the announcements made by the various game publishers and developers about new or updated titles on Feb 2nd that either have been launched or have been scheduled for launch later on.
Gears of War II under consideration:
Epic, the developer of Gears of War, has officially confirmed the development of Gears of War II.
The new version will surely come with some enhanced ingame content like Better weapon balance, number of players in the team, Connection issues and some other augmentations in the game.

Konami making Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles for the PSP:
Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles is the very first game that is coming to PSP. The game is a 3D remake of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood.

Volition Inc. developing next version of Red Faction:
The existing version of Red Faction supports Sony's PS2 platform but this time Volition is stepping towards next-gen platform. Which platforms will be the new version supporting is undefined until now.

Sega announces Universe At War: Earth Assault:
Sega has announced Petroglyph's Real time strategy game Universe At War: Earth Assault. The new title will be hitting the PC platform by the end of this year.

Hudson Soft brining two new game titles to the US Wii:
The game developer Hudson is brining two new game titles named Wing Island and Kororinpa: Marble Mania to the US gamers on Wii platform. However, both the titles have been launched in Japan, last year on same day i.e. Dec 2nd, 2006. Both the titles are likely to hit Wii sometime in March 2007.

New FlatOut game underway, coming to Xbox360:
Empire Interactive, the publisher of FlatOut has informed that the new version of FlatOut named FlatOut Total Carnage is coming to Xbox360. The game is likely to hit the platform in June, 2007.
