Video Gaming: Coming to a movie theatre near you

This post in Blogcritics says that in an effort to get people back to the movie theatres, TimePlay Entertainment Inc. has come up with an innovation. It has just recently put into production a technology that will enable cinemagoers to play interactive games during the pre-show of a movie.

Cinemagoers will be able to play games on a 3.5-inch touch screen device that will be the size of a PlayStation Portable. According to the post, each seat will have a unique IP address and will be connected by a tethered arm to the seat.

The device initially will support 70 players in a theater.

Sounds fun, eh? What do you say?
