Everyone is familiar with Dassault Systemes-owned Virtools' new move that working on innovative solutions for Wii that will help game designers, developers and graphics artists create innovative and realistic games with enhanced game devolvement equipment.

Virtool has another next-gen project in its mind i.e. it is simultaneously working on next-gen game prototyping and game engines for both Xbox360 as well as PS3.
Talking out its existing PC and PSP projects, the officials said that they are continue with their PC and PSP game engines that was launched last year in 2006.

The company's Wii project allows developers run the Virtools 4 software to use Wii controllers on their PC while Xbox360 and PS3 venture consists GUIs, graphical and text scripting, debug tools, and APIs such as behavior and render engines, as well as asset integration plug-ins.
New next-gen game engine will surely be a challenge for Virtools and rivals like Epic games and CryTech with their Unreal Engine 3 and CryEngine 2 respectively would be feeling heat as a new contender is stepping in next-gen gaming arena.
