The video games are finding their applicability in the real life too as the months ago the report claimed that the researchers are trying to find out the panacea to the cancer like fatal diseases. Now once again video games have shown their significance in the field of medicines with giving a treatment to the patients affected by Acrophobia (height phobia).

There are some intellectuals at Medical Virtual Reality Center (Pittsburgh) who are practicing on virtual reality project. The therapy makes the use of Unreal Engine to make a level where patients have to climb up an incomplete skyscraper starting for the basement.
The patients who are affected with height phobia are placed in the virtually safe environment and then brought to the higher unfinished floors so that the patient doesn’t get traumatized at once.

The whole basis of the treatment is based on habitual therapy in which the patient is treated in such a way that he gradually adapts the situations that leads the patient to the healthier psyche and hence resulting in annihilation of acrophobia.
