Mike Morhaime, President of Blizzard has stated that, “With StarCraft II, we'll be able to do everything we wanted to do with the original StarCraft and more ... We recognize that expectations are high following the long-running popularity of the original game, but we plan to meet those expectations and deliver an engaging, action-packed, competitive experience that StarCraft players and strategy gamers worldwide will enjoy.”
On the other hand Charles Onyett, the IGN’s man positioned in Korea has said, “SC2 looks, at least visually, strikingly similar to SC1 - both in unit and map designs.”
Blizzard has made several releases, but it is introduced in the market after a long time. Since the year 1994, Blizzard is usually releasing consistently in two years. This year original warcraft was released. But in the year 2006 this line broke with the delaying of the release of StarCraft:Ghost.
No definite date is yet announced for the release StarCraft II., but gamers are whole heartedly praying for its arrival. So, get ready for another issue of this series!
