It’s like a norm these days to roll out a videogame with a movie that’s a comic book adaptation, and it’s not surprising that ‘Watchmen’ is following the lead. I know it’s pretty common and there’s nothing to report about it, but what’s uncommon about this comic-to-movie-to-game port is that it’ll be released as a Massively Multiplayer Online Game and that too for iPhone and iPod touch (another recent fad).

Watchmen: Justice is Coming has been developed by Last Legion Games and they’ve stated that a player can create his/her own character by customizing it. If you are a Watchmen fan and are worried about this game release then fear not as Watchmen game will also be released for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 under the name Watchmen: The End Is Nigh. Non-iPhone version is not a MMO Game and hence may disappoint those Watchmen lovers who were keen on playing MMO version (not on their iPhones). iPhone version of the game is set in pre-movie New York and this will make it a must try for the fans of Watchmen. It’ll be available on App store from 6th of this month.
