Namco Bandai has announced yet another game for the Nintendo Wii. The game publisher best known for its Tekken and Soulcalibur series is now coming up with a Skiing game for the Wii titled ‘We Ski’. The game has already been released in Japan earlier this year titled ‘Family Ski’. We Ski features single massive mountain ski resort with a range of runs, from green to double black diamond. It also features a ski school, freestyle skiing, moguls and slaloms, a photography contest and lots more. Up to four players can take part in playing the game simultaneously . Players can either use the Wii Nunchuk and Remote or wait for the all new Wii Balance Board, which will be released bundled with Wii Fit on May 19. We Ski has been the only third-party game thus far to have support for the Wii Balance Board. Players can either import their Mii avatars into the game or create their own characters with dozens of accessories ranging from skis, poles, goggles, to other assorted snow gear. The game is expected to ship to North American shores this Spring.

With all these things, I am truly amazed of what Nintendo’s doing with its high quality of products that have been launched. Furthermore, their gadgets are truly amazing and surely make you enjoy playing with such as Nintendo Wii. However, Sony Playstation has released ”Home,” launched in beta form. The program is an online world where players can create a digital self, and interact in a virtual world. It is a kind of hybrid between the avatar program for the Nintendo Wii, and the online phenomenon Second Life. Home users create a custom representation of themselves, virtual homes, and can communicate with other people via chat with text and video, host friends online, play games, and do lots of things in the free version, but upgrades will be made available at the Sony online store, such as larger houses, clothes, furniture and other things, except those sell for real money. It is only in the beta stage right now, but it was officially launched on December 11th. Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 had also added avatars and other related features to their game systems. However, PlayStation Home appears to be a lot more sophisticated in its virtual world. Whether or not Home will be a hit is yet to be known. Some say the new PS3 Home is just another petty game using avatars to sell you things you don’t want. Similar to those who see the value of no fax payday loans, others are more open-minded and just can’t wait to house the Home in their homes. Click to read more on Payday Loans.
