Anyone can get baffled as goes to the marketplace to get his hands on Half-Life 2: Episode Two (Valve's multiplatform FPS creation) and finds a choice of Black box and Orange Box, both with different price tags.

This is just an attempt of valve to give a surprise to the buyers when he goes to score one. I know what you are thinking about? Surely, you are thinking; what are these Black and Orange Box associated with? Guys! These boxes are coupled with Valve's upcoming Half-Life 2: Episode Two that is set for release in 2007 summers. The game comes with the optional work to pick any of two, either Half-Life 2: Black Box or Half-Life 2: Orange Box.
A big difference lies between two like cost, platform and content.
The Half-Life 2: Black Box will be supporting PC platform and includes Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Portal and Team Fortress 2, whole package costing $39.99.
Whereas, Orange Box comes with a bit wider options like multiplatforms and larger ingame content. The title will be supporting PS3, Xbox360 and PC platform with game content Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episodes One and Two, Portal and Team Fortress, whole for just $59.99.
