What Gamers' might want from Santa this Xmas

As the holiday season begins, we probe what gamers want to include in their wish list. This includes kids and adults alike. You would be pardoned to think that you could make the list yourself as it is much too common. Anyway, let's see what the most probable 5-item wish list of an average gamer might look like for Santa to bring this Christmas.

Xbox 360 - Released on November 22, consoles vanished as soon as it hit the stores. Notwithstanding the malfunction reports in a few of them, they are selling faster than hot cakes. Now with the second shipment rumoured to have been delayed, the Microsoft console is on the top of the list.

Doom 3 - The game about zombies in the future on Mars. The talking point of this game is that it is so scary that playing this game in the dark scares teenagers to the point that they admit that they are scared! The controls are a little hard to get used to initially, but once you get the hang of it, it is a cakewalk. Forget the scary part for the time being, if you play it for a little while, the game gives you really thrilling fun.

World of Warcraft - This is the online role-playing game you should play, no matter who you are. This strategy game with big, beautiful, seamless world; highly streamlined and conducive to short or long play sessions; exciting, action-packed combat; elegant, easy-to-use interface; excellent music and sound is addictive to the core. I would have placed this higher than Doom 3, but then I have a different personality altogether. I can play WoW for ages and yet not get bored with it. I am my own character here, whom I build according to my own tastes and individuality. Already, people who got disenchanted with the Star War Galaxies have moved into playing this game. Tell you folks, if you haven't played this before, I must recommend this to you. World of Warcraft is amazing in many ways, but above all - and I am not exaggerating - it's a really fun game.

Age of Empires III - Another strategy game for PC. This amazingly designed game is for those who are looking for a complex yet interesting real-time strategy game with fantastic good looks. The historical facts are authentic (or minimally disputed if any) and it transcends you to the American Civil War era. To tell you the truth, Age III's graphics are unmatched in the strategy genre, trust me.

Shrek Super Slam - This is one of the better games that are like a street fighter game where it is a battle between fairy-tale creatures and nothing really comes from it. The levels come to be challenging and sometimes frustrating when you take on three characters at once with someone like Donkey, who isn't the best character. Again, it is a fun game for those who are just starting out in gaming world. You can recognize the charactersrs from the 'Shrek' movies and game play is quite easy. However, you won't let the other computers do all the fighting when playing in a team, would you?

X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse - The game about X-Men and their sworn enemy, the Brotherhood, this is arguably the best X-Men game ever made. The X-men combine forces to defeat a common enemy worse than anything they have encountered before. You create your team of 4 out of 16 playable mutants and guide them to develop their powers for the principal objective - defeating the Apocalypse. The individual personalities are very interesting indeed. This is also a linking to the upcoming movie in 2006 titled 'X3'. If you loved the X-Men comics, movies or the previous games, you can't miss out on this one. No way!

Now that I have composed a list of 5 things that you might want to see in Boxing Day, I know I have invited a lot of trouble from those who might not agree with me at all (may be apart from the console that tops the list).

Where is Halo 2, Half-life 2, King Kong, Kameo: Elements of Power, Project Gotham Racing etc? Why there is no fighter-plane game like Jetfighter 2015?

Well, keep the comments coming in, bomb me, and let me know your views. I shall definitely put up an update in the future.
