You don't have to be a rocket scientist to make out that once the Wii Fit gets popular, it would spread its tentacles to every thing it could; following the lead of its sibling, the Wii Mote. Taking a step in that general direction, Wii Fit can now be used to play the uber popular World of Warcraft. Two researchers from The German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (dfki) have demonstrated that the Wii Fit can be used to play World of Warcraft. This also implies that the Fit can be used in any 3D environment. The best part about this entire episode is that you don't have to mess with the cables and hardware, the hack is entirely based on software, written in C#. The board sends data to a computer via Bluetooth, which decodes the data stream into directional instructions using the software.
