Star Trek Online is (drum roll please) customizable! Customize Bridge Officers’ race, appearance, uniform, name and what not. Kinda City of Heroes all over again. This and numerous other tidbits have been revealed by Cryptic Studios. The developer had a little internal Q&A session and fired away all the answers merrily. Among the details revealed about the MMO is the fact that the player would be able to train in “multiple ship classes,” essentially, thus, the choice of ships is not really limited. So Starfleet or Klingon officer – both are pretty much in picture. And Trek’s much-loved 3D chess is on the cards but probably as an expansion pack. Just when? Well, Ask Cryptic!
