Rock Band; a new game underway to from game developers Harmonix, MTV and EA was the top news, yesterday that snatched the top place at all the sites, but the thing that was missing in all the articles was no sign of Nintendo Wii, not even in long official press release. The announcement contained very detailed description of PS3 and Xbox360 but no sign of Wii....!

So, favoring Wii, IGN asked Harmonix officials some questions and got statement:
EA will be publishing for all important platforms and the Wiimote is something that holds enormous promise.
Harmonix's aforementioned statement is a quite adequate clue that a Wii is underway but unfortunately there is no official confirmation of Wii version.
Currently, Rock Band is announced for Xbox360 and PS3 that will hit both the platforms sometimes this holiday.
I am waiting for the official announcement of Wii version, hope would float up soon.....!
