The original Mega Man appeared on consoles way back in 1987. After spawning a number of titles since then the game is set to appear on Wii Virtual Consoles this week. Capcom associate producer David Crislip announced that Blue Bomber will be made available on North American Virtual Consoles today. This will be a sort of practice run for old-school Mega Man 9(that’ll debut in September) and the NES classic Mega Man 2 (which will again reappear later in September). The latter is held as the best title in series, often being cited as the reason behind the success of the original title as well. It looks as the Rockman is ready to rock, yet again!
