Final Fantasy XIII as of its very starting remained a debatable issue firstly for its platform since the FF sequel was previously salted for PS2 but later, the game developer Square Enix toppled it over Sony's next-gen platform PS3.

Now this thing is clear that FF XIII is shipping to Sony's PS3 console that is waiting for confirmation of final launch date that is until now undefined.

Now, another issue that is catching heat is its exclusiveness that also seems to be a big concern, as well. The matter is weather it would be all time PS3 exclusive or not.
In an interview granted to the daily newspaper the Last News of Alsace, George Fornay, SCE France Boss talking about Sony's PS3 launch at doorsteps says that the company is pocketing a heavy loss of €2 billion this year, across the world.
And talking abut FF VIII exclusivity, he said that the matter is under discussion.

Besides, he said that the development cost of the games just exploded i.e. the development of games costs too high so to make an exclusive title for every individual console is a hard nut to crack. The statement of SCE Boss apparently confirms that the FF VIII will not be a PS3 exclusive title. Anyway, to cal it resultant conclusion would be a bit erroneous; we should wait for developers confirmation. Till ten stay tuned......!
