Matt Pace over compete.com has very smartly done the comparison of all three next-gen champs there in market. He also has got some success in gaining the ground amongst Wii cadres but what the basic fundamentals for the ups and downs in sales of all three gaming console are missing. If he would have mentioned the reasons for the best sales of Xbox360 and Wii succession after Xbox360, then his conclusion must had fluctuated from its original trajectory.

As the graphical representation set by y Matt Pace shows that Xbox360 was leading console amongst all three until now and Wii is the console that will carry the procession forward in spite of PS3.

Here are some explanations that explain why Xbox360 and Wii are leading consoles:

Xbox360:

• Xbox360 was the only contender in the vacant gaming market and had done a significant lead that is quite rigid to prevail over for both the consoles Wii and PS3.

• Xbox360 is HD loaded Consuelo

• The support of sound games

• XBLA support

• DVD and HD content downloads

Wii:

• Low cost

• Wireless Motion sensing remote controller support

• More game content like The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess on launch day

• Old-school game support

• An appropriate global launch

These are some factors that contribute to good sales of both the next-gen consoles in comparison with Sony’s PS3.

Why sales of Xbox360 and Wii will go down?

Xbox360 is the console that is already showing a downfall in its sales so it doesn’t need much to explain. So we would discuss just Wii.

• Greatest cost rigidity

• No HD Graphics support

• Repeated gameplay (that makes gamers a bit bored)

• Motion sensing feature no more a Wii-mote heritage (also in PS3 controller)

• Support of good enough titles missing

• The market is gone saturated for Xbxo360 as Microsoft has lowered its sales forecast

However, PS3 has more or less all these advantages like less cost rigidity, Blu-ray support, excellent game titles enclosed, etc. Most of all is PS3′a European launch that is waiting for its turn and finally it has been set on March 23rd (the Euro PS3 launch date instability and shipment ambiguity were far enough reasons that created a lot of mistrust amongst the PS3 fanboys but now everything is going by schedule.

So at last I would like to ask Pace one question that does still he believe that Wii will be the Xbxo360’s successor??
