If you have been waiting for something new from the guys at World of Warcraft, then you are in for a surprise. The Wrath of the Lich King is going to be in stores on November 13. Blizzard is planning to release the game on the same day in Europe, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Russia. However, fans in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand would have to wait for a day more and in these countries, the game would be released on November 14. On the 18th of November, Wrath of the Lich King would be released in Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao.
Also in the pipeline is a prepatch to bridge the gap between the current version of WoW and the expansion. The expansion would be offered in a standard edition, which costs $39.99, and a collector’s edition, which costs $69.99. The collector’s edition would contain The Art of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, a 208 page book, Frosty, the game pet, a DVD containing behind the scenes, official soundtrack CD, a mouse pad and two starter decks. The entire gaming community would wait for this with bated breath.
