A study by Nielsen Entertainment says nearly 50 percent of active gamers won't migrate to the 'next-generation' until they have a choice.

But although sellouts are already being reported and long lines are de rigueur, a leading entertainment industry group is saying that interest in the console isn't at the frenzied levels Microsoft is portraying it as.'
This is a superb decision taken by the gamers who opted to stay out of the frenzy and resist the temptation created by the hype leading up to the launch of Xbox 360 and still going on unabated. In any case, the wait for PS3 won't be that long. It is slated to come out sometime late summer next year.
