It may be a real long wait for gamers who would like to buy one but haven't ordered their Xbox 360 yet. They might have to stand in queue a week from now when retailers start selling it. Stores like GameStop and EB Games took pre-launch orders for the Xbox 360, but stopped adding to the lists when the names surpassed the number of Xboxes they expected to get.

Michael Becker, manager of the EB Games store at Lynnhaven Mall in Norfolk, Va., which took pre-orders until last week said; '"At this point, we think we can fill all the orders". He added, retailers are refusing to guarantee that any Xbox will arrive by any specific date by saying; 'Simply because it is not in our control'.
Retailers such as Wal-Mart, Circuit City, Best Buy and Costco don't accept pre-orders and plan to put out their Xbox 360s when they open Nov. 22. Therefore die-hard and determined consumers are likely to line up in the wee hours to score one of the units, which retailers believe will sell out before the end of the day.
Amanda Tate, spokeswoman for Circuit City Stores, based in Richmond, Va said; 'It will be a first-come, first-served basis. So if you're there right at 10 when the doors open, you might just get one."
So what are you going to do about it? Wait till the heat cools down or risk a stampede to get one? Let us know folks :-)
