Microsoft did not want to make a comment on Xbox 360 situation in UK. Meanwhile a new shipment is hitting US shore shortly. You all know that Xbox 360 was in terrible short supply after its launch on Nov. 22. The official release from Microsoft says it is working around the clock to deliver as many Xbox console as humanly possible.
Meanwhile Microsoft UK is tightlipped about the Xbox 360’s availability on other side of the Atlantic. A website quoted one MS spokesperson as saying that MS is at present not announcing any further plan for Xbox 360 but it is surely will achieve its 90 day forecast of selling 2.75 to 3 million units.
Dean Takahashi, the news reporter from San Jose Mercury, writer of Opening of Xbox told that Microsoft was disappointed about the lack of supply. I think that’s quite astonishing, why, because, Microsoft being such a big firm, can not predict its future demand and accordingly can not adjust the logistics of it, is simply unbelievable. I think it is only creating an artificial demand by lowering supply in all the places, be it Japan or US or UK.
