First, we had studios releasing Movies before their announced release dates. Now Microsoft is doing the same with its xBox360 launch. If you believe Circuit City's website, then Xbox 360 units will be available at 2pm ET on November 18, this Friday, a good 3.5 days (82 hours) ahead of schedule.
The holiday season has unofficially started. All you Star Wars Fans who lined up week before the latest movie release, you have competition. XBox fans are here. Lines will most certainly start forming outside stores by late Wednesday evenings. Expect to see lots and lots of backpacks and raggled kids and adults. Maybe many will prepone their weekend holidays.
Though, you will have to fork out more than you may have planned, as Circuit City will only sell systems bundled with games. 'Money-minded' Microsoft will never change.
