The piece of information also reveals the price-list of consoles and updates that the prices of consoles will not face any alteration for the upcoming fall season. The article compares the tariffs of Wii and Xbox and explains that Wii gives more emphasis on their retailers by giving bigger margin per piece (5.0%) that will give rise to the push strategy while Microsoft is offering lesser margin on their product (3.9% on XBOX 360 Premium and 2.6% on XBOX 360 Core).

The concept is quite transparent that Microsoft is following the pull strategy for Xbox due to low price as compared to Wii.
