Unlike Sony or other console developers, Microsoft has never an issue with its console, but its controller has always been a tight spot for it, from its very launch date, because of its cyclical dull design and no motion sensing talent. Who did know that Microsoft Boss Bill Gates also wanted something like Nintendo’s Wii-mote? Did you know? Yeas! Sharing their thoughts with D5, founder of Microsoft said:
Software is doing vision and so, you know, imagine a game machine where you’re just going to pick up the bat and swing it or the tennis racket and swing it.
His quote very clearly indicates that the he really likes the motion-sensing concept of Nintendo that it has employed in its Wii-mote. “No, that’s not it. You can’t pick up your tennis racket. And swing it…You can’t sit there with your friends and do those natural things. That’s a 3D positional device. This is video recognition,” he added further.
Since, Xbxo360 controller with only force feedback feature, contains no motion sense, so Gates expressed his desire to introduce a new control system for Xbox360 that will have some Wii-mote like features, not only that, they have started working on the project that may bring motion sensing feature to the Xbox360 controllers.
Gates looked eager to play some perfect action simulation that lets you act like you do in real i.e. he was impatient to play some Tennis like sports genre that lets you simulate real moves, and that find a good use of Wii-motes motion sensing feature. So we can expect a new feature rich Xbo360 controller allowing you to play some racing simulation like Gothem Racing 4 or First Person Shooter like Call Of Duty 4, with improved ingame controls and faster gameplay.
