PS3 which normally is the beneficiary of Fedora Core 5 Linux OS will have a new partner as Yellow Dog Linux Kit has been released.

The Installation of this OS seems pretty simple and it takes just 15 minutes to install. The OS features an installation guide that will tell you all the necessary procedure for the install.
According to the installation guide:
"You will be presented with option to "Allot 10GB to the Other OS" or "Allot 10GB to the PS3 System." If your PS3 has a 20GB drive and you select 10GB for the PS3 System, this leaves roughly 6.5GB for Linux (which is not enough for a full install, but ample for the default YDL install)."
You can always swap the inbuilt drive with a 120GB drive if you want a complete install.
The OS is priced at $99 and if you wait till Christmas then you might get a free version of the OS.
