Zero Wireless controller by Nyko seems to be in a great position to take hold of the market. They are currently selling a package with the product for $59.99. The package contains the controller, a rechargeable NiMH battery, an additional battery pack for two AA batteries, a 10-foot hot red USB cable and a USB wireless receiver. Of course any company could offer a controller, but what makes this controller special and above all others? Well, this controller is the first aftermarket controller to offer vibration with it’s buff sleek design.
Although this controller has some pretty awesome positives to it, there are always a few negatives. First of all, the controller isn’t a Bluetooth controller. This means you have to plug it in using a USB receiver into the PS3. Next, the controller’s d-pad is a single piece of plastic that seems to miss the feeling of high-quality material. Lastly, the USB receiver features an ‘on’ light that is very bright. It really sticks out like a sore thumb.
With the positives and negatives weighed, I tend to go towards still buying it. It still gives some awesome experiences and the negatives are mostly minor and can be worked out. All in all, this product will most likely rule the aftermarket.
